We care about the communities in which our coffee is served and the communities where it is grown. We are a small, ethically and sustainably  minded company, and always doing what we can to support the work of local charities, and organisations running welfare projects at origin.

Charities we regularly support

Footsteps Limited

The Footsteps Centre specialises in the intensive rehabilitation of children and young adults with cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, epilepsy, other neurological and neuromotor disorders and undiagnosed conditions.

South Oxfordshire Palliative Care Hub

The Sue Ryder South Oxfordshire Palliative Care Hub supports people aged 18 and over who are dying from life-limiting conditions such as cancer, heart failure and lung disease.

Kestrel Theatre Company

Kestrel employs professionals to work creatively within the criminal justice system, facilitating original pieces of work, mostly theatre and film.

Our horses benefit the lives of over 25,000 disabled children and adults. With fun activities like riding and carriage driving, we provide therapy, fitness, skills development and opportunities for achievement.

The aims of Choko are to build cohesion between communities, make a sustainable change to the lives of people in Ntwetwe, Uganda, and continue to improve the educational needs of under achieving children in Kodumela, South Africa.
